Is Am Are ใน Tense ต่างๆ

1. Present Simple Tense   

•   is am are แปลว่า เป็น อยู่ คือ  (ประธาน+ is, am, are, + นาม) 

I am a student. ผมเป็นนักเรียน (student = นาม)
He is in the room. เขาอยู่ในห้อง (room = นาม)
We are tigers. พวกเราคือเสือ (tiger = นาม)

• แต่บางครั้ง is am are ไม่ต้องแปล  (ประธาน+ is, am, are, + คุณศัพท์) 

I am tall. ผมสูง (tall = คุณศัพท์)
She is short. หล่อน เตี้ย ( short= คุณศัพท์)
They are smart. พวกเขาเทห์ ( smart=คุณศัพท์)

2. Present Continuous  (เรียนรู้เต็มๆในเรื่อง Present continuous)

• is am are อย่าแยกแปล ให้แปลควบกับคำกริยาที่เติม ing 

I am eating. ผมกำลังกิน
He is running. เขากำลังวิ่ง
We are  swimming. พวกเรากำลังว่ายน้ำ

I am = I’m ( ไอ แอม = ไอม)
I am not = I’m not (ไอ แอม น็อท = ไอม น็อท)

He is = He’s (ฮี อิส = ฮีส)
He is not = He’s not/ He isn’t ( ฮี อิส น็อท = ฮีส น็อท / ฮี อิสเซินท)
She is = she’s (ชี อิส = ชีส)
She is not = She’s not/ She isn’t (ชี อิส น็อท = ชีส น็อท/ ชี อิสเซินท)
It is = It’s (อิท อิส = อิทส)
It is not = It’s not/ It isn’t (อิท อิส น็อท = อิทส น็อท / อิท อิสเซินท)

You are = You’re (ยู อา = ยัว)
You are not = You’re not / You aren’t (ยู อา น็อท = ยัว น็อท / ยู อ้านท)
We are = We’re (วี อา = เวีย)
We are not = We’re not / We aren’t (วี อา = เวีย น็อท / วี อ้านท)
They are = They’re (เด อา = แด)
They are not = They’re not / They aren’t  (เด อา น็อท = แด น็อท / เด อ้านท)

ประโยคบอกเล่า

• ประโยคบอกเล่าจะเป็นโครงสร้างธรรมดา คือ ประธาน + is, am, are + ส่วนขยาย (นาม, คุณศัพท์)

I	am	a doctor.
He, She, It, A cat	is	tall.
You, We, They, Cats	are	from Thailand.

I am a doctor. ผมเป็นหมอ

He is smart. เขาเท่ห์
She is a girl. หล่อนเป็นผู้หญิง
It is a dog. มันเป็นหมา
A cat is black. แมวสีดำ

You are my friend. คุณเป็นเพื่อนของฉัน
We are from Thailand. พวกเรามาจากประเทศไทย
They are students. พวกเขาเป็นนักเรียน
Cats are white. แมวสีขาว

ประโยคบอกปฏิเสธ

•  โครงสร้างปฏิเสธคล้ายประโยคบอกเล่า เพียงแค่เอาคำว่า not มาวางหลัง is, am, are

I	am	not	a doctor.
He, She, It, A cat	is	not	tall.
You, We, They, Cats	are	not	from Thailand.

I am not a doctor. ผมไม่เป็นหมอ

He is not smart. เขาไม่เท่ห์
She is not a girl. หล่อนไม่เป็นผู้หญิง
It is not a dog. มันไม่เป็นหมา
A cat is not black. แมวไม่สีดำ

You are not my friend. คุณไม่เป็นเพื่อนของฉัน
We are not from Thailand. พวกเราไม่มาจากประเทศไทย

ประโยคคำถาม  Yes / No Question

การทำประโยคคำถามง่ายๆเอง เพียงแค่เอาคำว่า Is, Am, Are มาวางไว้หน้าประโยคแค่นั้นเองและอย่าลืมเติมเครื่องหมายคำถามท้ายประโยคด้วยนะครับ

ประโยคคำถามแบ่งออกเป็นสองประเด็นคือ ถามในรูปแบบบอกเล่า และถามรูปแบบปฏิเสธ

1. การถามในรูปแบบบอกเล่า

Am	I	a doctor?
Is	he, she, it, a cat	tall?
Are	you, we, they, cats	from Thailand?

• Am I a doctor? ผมเป็นหมอใช่ไหม
  Yes, you are. /No, you aren’t. ใช่ คุณเป็นหมอ / ไม่ คุณไม่เป็นหมอ
• Is he smart? เขาเท่ห์ใช่ไหม
  Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t.  ใช่ เขาเท่ห์ / ไม่ เขาไม่เท่ห์
• Is she a girl? หล่อนเป็นผู้หญิงใช่ไหม
  Yes, she is. / No, she isn’t. ใช่ หล่อนเป็นผู้หญิง / ไม่หล่อนไ่ม่เป็นผู้หญิง
• Is it a dog? มันเป็นหมาใช่ไหม
  Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. ใช่ มันเป็นหมา / ไม่ มันไม่เป็นหมา
• Is a cat black? แมวสีดำใช่ไหม
  Yes, a cat is. / No, a cat isn’t. ใช่ แมวสีดำ / ไม่ แมวไม่สีดำ  หรือ

• Are you my friend? คุณเป็นเพื่อนของฉันใช่ไหม
  Yes, I am. / No, I’m not. ใช่ผมเป็นเพื่อนคุณ / ไม่ ผมไม่เป็นเพื่อนคุณ
• Are we from Thailand? พวกเรามาจากประเทศไทยใช่ไหม
  Yes, we are. / No, we aren’t. ใช่ เรามาจากประเทศไทย / ไม่ เราไม่มาจากประเทศไทย
• Are they students? พวกเขาเป็นนักเรียนใช่ไหม
  Yes, they are. / No, we aren’t. ใช่ พวกเขาเป็นนักเรียน / ไม่ พวกเขาไม่เป็นนักเรียน

2. การถามในรูปแบบปฏิเสธ

การถามในรูปปฏิเสธแบ่งออกอีกสองประเด็นคือ ในรูปแบบเต็ม และรูปแบบย่อ

• Am I not a doctor? ผมไม่เป็นหมอใช่ไหม
  Yes, you are. /No, you aren’t. ใช่ คุณเป็นหมอ / ไม่ คุณไม่เป็นหมอ
• Isn’t he smart? เขาไม่เท่ห์ใช่ไหม
  Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t.  ใช่ เขาเท่ห์ / ไม่ เขาไม่เท่ห์
• Is she not a girl? หล่อนไม่เป็นผู้หญิงใช่ไหม
  Yes, she is. / No, she isn’t. ใช่ หล่อนเป็นผู้หญิง / ไม่หล่อนไ่ม่เป็นผู้หญิง
• Is it not a dog? มันไม่เป็นหมาใช่ไหม
  Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. ใช่ มันเป็นหมา / ไม่ มันไม่เป็นหมา
• Isn’t a cat black? แมวไม่สีดำใช่ไหม

*** ไม่ว่าคำถามจะเป็นอย่างไร ถ้าใช่ก็บอกว่าใช่ ถ้าไม่ใช่ก็บอกว่าไม่ เช่น แมวตัวนี้สีขาว แล้วมีคนถามว่า

Is a cat black? แมวสีดำใช่ไหม
No, it isn’t. ไม่ มันไม่ใช่สีดำ

Isn’t a cat black? แมวไม่ใช่สีดำใช่ไหม
No, it isn’t. ไม่ มันไม่ใช่สีดำ
ห้ามตอบ yes นะครับ ถ้าตอบ yes จะหมายความว่ามันมีสีดำ

ประโยคคำถาม Wh- Question

ให้เอาคำเหล่านี้ (Who, What, Where, When, Why, How) นำหน้าประโยค ตามด้วย  is, am, are

Who is that? นั่นคือใคร
That is a doctor. นั่นคือหมอ

What is it? มันคืออะไร
It is a dog. มันคือหมา

Where is my pen? ปากกาของฉันอยู่ไหน
It’s on the table. มันอยู่บนโต๊ะ

When is your birthday? วันเกิดของคุณเมื่อไหร่
It’s in July. มันอยู่ในเดือนกรกฎาคม

Why is the world round? ทำไมโลกกลม
